Shift and schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch, two paid 15-minute breaks); occasional overtime

Core Duties

Receive and unload deliveries; physically inspect contents for damage or errors

Compare delivered items to packing slip, purchase order, and receiving schedule to confirm correct quantity and items

Note damages or shortages and report to the appropriate department or supplier

Sort, label, organize, and move received goods to correct storage areas

Verify product and packaging quality and adherence to vendor compliance policy

Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard "Preferred Method Standard"

Perform replenishment tasks: move merchandise from "reserve" to "pick" slots

Perform daily inspections of equipment such as forklifts, reach truck, and clamp

Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot, confirming correct quantity and unit of measure

Load merchandise into the appropriate truck

Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery

Identify and report slot and put-away problems

Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed

Assist with other inventory and warehouse tasks as needed

Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned

Requirements

Must be able to operate a Reach Truck immediately no training provided on this equipment

Reliable transportation required

Prior warehouse experience required

Receiving experience a plus, not required

03 years of general warehouse/materials handling experience

Ability to work under general supervision, reporting to a supervisor or manager

Environment

Dry warehouse environment

Approximately 85% of shift spent operating the Reach Truck; remainder split between picking, loading/unloading, and receiving
