This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: -Supervise and coordinate daily activities of marine construction crews. -Interpret and execute project plans, drawings, and specifications. -Perform plan review for accuracy and constructability prior to and during construction. -Complete material take-offs and assist with ordering and job costing. -Load, secure, transport, and unload construction equipment, tools, and materials using company trailers and vehicles. -Deliver equipment and materials to job sites and coordinate logistics to maintain production schedules. -Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and company standards. -Monitor progress, workmanship quality, and crew performance. -Troubleshoot jobsite issues and support crew members to keep projects moving forward. -Communicate effectively with crew leaders, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients. -Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with plans and quality standards. -Maintain project documentation, daily logs, and project reporting. -Train, mentor, and develop crew members. Requirements: -Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience required -Minimum 2 years leading crews or supervising projects -Marine construction experience preferred; qualified foremen from residential, commercial, framing, or carpentry backgrounds will be considered -Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment -Experience reading construction plans and specifications -Ability to perform material take-offs -Experience operating, loading, securing, and transporting equipment and trailers preferred -Proven leadership and problem-solving skills -Strong work ethic -Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Compensation: Salary Range: $68,000 – $93,000 annually Hourly Equivalent: Approximately $34 – $45/hour Additional Notes: Requires 5 years of experience.
