Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Orthopedics
Physical Therapy Specialists – Davenport, FL

Physical Therapy Specialists is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Davenport, Florida.

We are a privately owned physical therapy practice focused on delivering high-quality, personalized patient care in a supportive and team-oriented environment. Our clinic treats a wide variety of orthopedic, post-surgical, sports medicine, balance, and general musculoskeletal conditions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who values one-on-one patient interaction, teamwork, mentorship, and a positive clinic culture.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities

• Provide manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities as appropriate

• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT

• Accurately document daily treatment notes in EMR

• Maintain a professional, positive, and compassionate attitude with patients and staff

• Assist in maintaining a clean and efficient clinic environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Active Florida PTA license (or license eligible)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply

• Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time preferred

• Approximately 40 hours per week

• Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
