We provide our customers with facility design and construction services which includes; sales and service for irrigation; grain handling; manure handling; and constructing high tech manure separation systems nationwide. In addition, we handle a broad line of manure handling, feed handling, & skid steer equipment. Komro Sales is constantly developing manpower to support, with innovation, our growing customer base.
Komro Sales & Service, Inc. is seeking an inventory control specialist to ensure accurate inventory levels while working closely with the purchasing group to maximize the number of inventory turns while maintaining inventory levels to fulfill customer needs.
Roles & Responsibilites:
Verify inventory levels by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
Enter, update and track inventory cycle counts into the computer system, including reconciliation and shortages.
Develop, implement and train on inventory control policies and procedures.
Enter, update and maintain all part numbers in the computer system with 100% accuracy.
Pick and fill work orders in a timely matter.
Create shelving and bin labeling, as needed.
Supports shipping and receiving department.
Operate a forklift as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Forklift experience or the ability to obtain a forklift certification
Ability to work in environments with both cold and hot temperatures
Strong written and verbal communicator
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly
Ability to adapt to changing demands and prioritize tasks accordingly
Self-motivated/ self-starter
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and accomplish work assignments with minimal supervision.
Capability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Physical Demands:
Must have the ability to lift 20 pounds frequently, 40 pounds occasionally, and up to 70 pounds minimally.
Regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Must also have the ability to stoop, crouch, kneel, or crawl as the job requires.
This position requires a significant amount of walking, and occasional standing in place is also a requirement.
Employee must also meet specific vision requirements, including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus on finer details.
