Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and Hospital policies and procedures. Contacts EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's physical and psychological condition on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care in the ED. Documents appropriately the information obtained from the ongoing assessment. Shares significant assessment data with the appropriate discipline.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

EXPERIENCE

ED experience required

LICENSURE

Current state registration or eligibility to do so. BLS, ACLS Required. PALS certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
