Assistant Project Manager - Construction Materials Testing

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager (APM) for our Greenville, South Carolina office. If you are interested in advancing your career in the Geotechnical and Construction Observation/ Material Testing Field and are passionate about ensuring quality and safety on high-impact builds, we want to hear from you! Technical Skills We are looking for people who have 2 to 5 years of experience performing ANY of the following inspections. I n Place Nuclear Density Testing Concrete/ Masonry Observation Sampling and Testing Steel Reinforcement (REBAR) Inspections Foundation Evaluation with Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) and Hand Probe Subgrade Evaluations via Proof roll Hot Mix and Warm Mix Asphalt (HMA/WMA) Inspections and Density Testing Retaining Wall Observations SFRM and Intumescent Fireproofing Sampling and Testing Floor Levelness and Floor Flatness (FF/FL) Structural Steel Inspections ICC Welding/ Bolting or CWI Chemical Stabilization of Soils via Cement or Lime Experience with soil stabilization, intermediate and deep foundation systems is a plus. Experience with Stormwater BMP Critical Stage Inspections and Infiltration testing also a plus Experience with carbonate assessment and sinkhole stabilization methods also a plus Qualifications 2-5 Years of Construction Observation and Material Testing Experience Degrees in Engineering, Geology and Construction Management Preferred Engineer in Training (EIT), Geologist in Training (GIT) and Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) a plus Possess or have the ability to obtain ICC, NICET NECEPT and ACI certifications.
