ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST: WEEK-END- PT: HOSP

Ultrasound Technologist Responsibilities Provide clinical services according to ultrasound practice standards and act as a resource to students, residents, fellows and other technologists to ensure optimal department functions. Administer sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies and procedures to ensure the safety of patients. Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations. Demonstrate safety for patients, staff, and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines. Diploma from certified school of Radiology required. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Sonographer and acute care experience preferred. Current RDMS license required. Breast and Vascular registry preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
