Manager, Inpatient Pharmacy Operations

Discover. Achieve. Succeed. #BeHere Location US: WI: MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility. Job is ON SITE. Position Details Full-time equivalent: 1.0. Standard hours: 40.0. Shift: Shift 1. Shift Details: Day shift with some on-call off hours roughly every 8th weekend; no holidays; no weekends except when on call. Job Summary The Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager manages the day‑to‑day distributive pharmacy services necessary for the provision of pharmaceutical care to each Froedtert patient. The manager interacts with other health‑care team members to proactively address drug distribution issues, maintain quality assurance programs, and provide overall leadership and supervision of the Central Pharmacy workflows. This person reports to the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations and may have additional duties as assigned. Experience Minimum of 2 years pharmacy experience required. Education B.S. or Pharm. D. degree from an ACPE‑certified pharmacy school required. Completion of a PGY‑2 residency and/or two years of prior supervisory experience preferred. Special Skills Effective team‑building skills. Ability to communicate effectively with other health‑care professionals and patients to provide optimal pharmaceutical care. Ability to prioritize responsibilities to optimize patient care and minimize adverse outcomes. Licensure Wisconsin pharmacist license (or eligible for) required.
