We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join our expanding transactional practice. This is an opportunity for an attorney with 6+ years of experience in construction, real estate, and business law to take ownership of complex matters while contributing to the continued growth and development of the firm. In this position, you will build strong client relationships, mentor associates, work closely with firm leadership, and play a meaningful role in the growth of the firm. Qualified attorneys may work in our Bozeman office, on a hybrid schedule, or remotely from anywhere in Montana . The Opportunity The Senior Associate will independently manage transactional matters and client relationships while working closely with firm leadership. The role offers substantial autonomy, leadership opportunities, compensation growth, and a meaningful path for advancement as KLH Advisors continues to expand. Key Responsibilities Manage sophisticated construction, real estate, and business transactions. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and transactional documents. Advise developers, contractors, property owners, businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors. Handle real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, financing, and related matters. Advise clients regarding construction contracts, development agreements, and risk allocation. Counsel businesses on entity formation, governance, commercial agreements, acquisitions, and general business matters. Independently manage client relationships and matters from inception through completion. Mentor, supervise, and train Associate Attorneys. Collaborate with attorneys and staff across the firm to provide responsive and comprehensive client service. Participate in business development and growth of the firm's transactional practice. Qualifications 6+ years of substantive transactional legal experience. Significant experience in construction, real estate, and business/commercial law . Active Montana law license and in good standing with the State Bar of Montana. J.D. from an accredited law school. Strong drafting, negotiation, communication, and client-management skills. Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters and multiple priorities. Ability and willingness to mentor and develop associate attorneys. Strong business judgment and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to client service. Commitment to responsive, high-quality client service. Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping grow the firm. Preferred, But Not Required Land use and development experience. Business-development experience or established client relationships.
