Senior Social Media Manager

Stand Together Communications is seeking aSeniorSocial MediaManager to lead the planning, oversight, and execution of digital strategies and campaigns that advance StandTogether’spriority initiatives. In this role, you’ll manage social media strategy and content for Americans for Prosperity (AFP), AFP Foundation (AFPF), and other Stand Together community partners. You will help shape broader digital campaigns to build awareness, engage audiences, and drive organizational goals. You will partner with AFP’s public policy experts, grassroots teams across the country, and federal affairs team to educate Americans on crucial public policy issues, drive advocacy and accountability efforts, and more through your expertise with social media strategy, content creation, and data analysis. How You Will Contribute Drive the development and execution of fully integrated digital communications campaigns that support the Stand Together community’s priority initiatives Manage AFP and AFPF’s social media channels, driving strategy and innovation in support of their grassroots political and public policy work Collaborate with key stakeholders and team members to ensure that goals are properlyidentified, digital plans are fully integrated with comprehensive communications strategies, and ongoing performance is measured and reported Ensure that plansleverageour internal capabilities and account for long‑term needs to build andmaintainaudience reach through websites, social media, and email marketing Identifycreative, out-of-the box ways to engage on issues and to capture opportunities that align with priorities and goals Increase the awareness and exposure of critical branded priority initiatives through paid advertising and organic promotion on social media and other digital platforms Develop regular reports to track key metrics across digital platforms and communicate performance to key stakeholders Establish andmaintainworkflow processes and structure tomaintaineffective execution on multiple issue areas What You Will Bring 5+ years of experience in a digital communications or marketing roleowning content and strategy for social media Strong understanding ofsocial mediatrends, strategy, and best practices Experience in grassroots political advocacy, political campaigns, or public policy Willingness to collaborateand a passion for policy issues Ability to create graphics,script,film,and edit social-first video, and draft compelling copy Experience working with multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships concurrently Out-of-the-box mindset to propose innovative and experiential digital strategies Experience with social media platforms and digital content management systems Strong critical thinking skills and creative mindset to develop effective engagement tactics Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and project management skills Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together’svision and principled approachto solving problems, and a commitment to stewardingour culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect Standout Candidates May Also Bring 3+ years of experience creating digital strategy 3+ years ofsocialmedia experience in politicalcampaigns,public policy organizations, governmentoffices,or other political work Digital marketing agency experience What We Offer Competitive benefits: Enjoy a 6% 401(k) match with immediate vesting, flexible time off, comprehensive health and dental plans, plus wellness and mental health support through Peloton and Talkspace A meaningful career: Join a passionate community of over 1,300 employees dedicated to improving lives and driving innovative solutions to complex social challenges Commitment to growth: Thrive in a non-hierarchical environment that empowers employees to discover, develop and apply their unique talents Competitive compensation: Our approach rewards the value you create through competitive salaries and bonus opportunities, allowing you to share in the success you help drive $110,000 - $125,000 a year For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $110,000–$125,000 per year. This role may also be eligible for additional bonus compensation designed to align total compensation with an employee’s overall contribution to the organization.
