Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring prior travel experience and the ability to circulate.

Details

• Work in a 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit caring for expecting patients
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2
• 12-hour night shift, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
• Weekend shifts required
• No block schedules offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
• Unit creates the schedule
• Float to NICU and Post Partum (Helping Hands program)
• Uses Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems
• Surgical scrubs provided

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must be able to circulate

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to expecting patients in a Labor & Delivery setting
• Orientation available only on 11/16, 11/30, or 12/14 with no other start dates offered
• No time off approved between 9/19 and 10/17 due to an Epic Go Live
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Radius rule of 75 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
