Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remodel and Finish Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential and commercial remodeling projects, with a strong background in finish carpentry, framing, and installation work. This role involves transforming spaces through precise craftsmanship, utilizing various tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results on time and within scope. Candidates should be comfortable working on diverse projects, including restoration, renovation, and custom fabrication, in a fast-paced construction environment.

Duties

• Execute detailed trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, and cabinetry work to meet project specifications.
• Perform framing tasks including metal stud framing, wood framing, and concrete forming.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and fabrication techniques for precise cutting, shaping, and assembly of materials.
• Conduct drywall finishing, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and roofing as required for project completion.
• Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols on-site.
• Perform plumbing or electrical tasks if qualified or assist licensed trades during projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and general remodeling projects.
• Knowledge in schematics, drywall finishing, roofing, siding installation, and cabinetry is a plus.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and fabrication techniques.
• Experience with restoration industry practices such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
• Knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Valid experience in construction site safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to read technical documents and follow detailed instructions.
