As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Gulfport, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to shoppers and staff. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for policy violations, suspicious behavior, or security-related concerns; document and report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting site management and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
