Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing essential support in a dynamic educational environment. In this contract role as a Special Education Paraprofessional, you'll work closely with K-12 students with diverse learning needs—either in a dedicated 1:1 capacity or within classroom groups. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the 2025-2026 school year, you’ll join a collaborative team committed to student growth and achievement.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and understanding supporting students with disabilities and varying needs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, specialists, administrators, and families.
• Experience implementing behavior support plans and utilizing positive behavior intervention strategies in adherence to district protocols.
• Proven ability to adapt and reinforce instructional content guided by certified staff.
• Flexibility and adaptability in meeting individual student needs and adjusting to diverse classroom environments.
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards at all times.
• Strong organizational and observational abilities with diligent recordkeeping for data collection and progress monitoring.
• Capable of following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to help students achieve academic, social, and behavioral milestones.

Role Details:

• Immediate start through May 29, 2026
• 1:1 or classroom-based student support options (K-12)
• 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday
• $23.00 per hour, paid weekly
