- Design Customized Therapy Plans: Assess individual needs and craft personalized therapeutic strategies aimed at helping patients meet their functional ambitions.
- Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply proven techniques to help enhance patient motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in partnership with fellow therapists, physicians, and nurses to provide well-rounded and comprehensive patient care.
- Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapeutic practices to ensure continued progress at home.
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes closely and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans for optimal patient journeys.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
- A commitment to ongoing education and certifications post-graduation
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
