IT Infrastructure Administrator

Position Summary The Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring, security, and availability of the organization’s server and endpoint infrastructure. This position will support Windows and Linux systems, virtualization platforms, backup infrastructure, Microsoft cloud services, and enterprise endpoint management. The role will work closely with cybersecurity, network, service desk, and application teams to ensure systems remain secure, reliable, compliant, and operational. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers in physical and virtual environments. Manage virtualization platforms and virtual machine lifecycle, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. Perform operating system administration, configuration, hardening, and optimization. Manage Windows Server services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related infrastructure services. Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and other cloud-based infrastructure services. Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, service accounts, and access controls. Implement and maintain operating system and application patching processes. Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and resource utilization. Troubleshoot server, operating system, application, and infrastructure-related issues. Administer endpoint management and security tools, including EDR/antivirus and vulnerability management platforms. Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations and regularly validate backup integrity. Maintain system security configurations in accordance with corporate security standards and policies. Identify and remediate system vulnerabilities and security weaknesses. Maintain system documentation, configuration records, procedures, and technical diagrams. Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes. Perform system upgrades, migrations, deployments, and lifecycle activities. Coordinate with vendors and technical support teams when advanced troubleshooting or escalation is required. Support IT audits, security assessments, compliance activities, and remediation efforts. Participate in on-call or after-hours support when required. Required Technical Skills Windows Server administration Active Directory and Group Policy DNS and DHCP Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Microsoft 365 administration Windows and Linux administration Virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox Backup and disaster recovery technologies Endpoint management and patch management EDR/antivirus and vulnerability management PowerShell and/or scripting for automation System monitoring and troubleshooting Server hardware and storage technologies IT security hardening and access management ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management Preferred Qualifications Experience administering enterprise or multi-site environments Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure Experience with Proxmox, VMware, or similar virtualization platforms Experience with enterprise backup solutions Experience with cybersecurity and EDR platforms such as CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender Experience with automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages Experience supporting ISO 27001 or other security/compliance frameworks Relevant Microsoft, VMware, Linux, or security certifications #J-18808-Ljbffr Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII
