About the Position

Job Title: Rad Tech Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT / RTR, RCIS Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Critical Care / Angio (IR) experience Description: Unit Profile: Unit Specifics: Angiography / Interventional Radiology with 3 Angiography Labs. Patient Ratios: 1:1. Staffing Description: Lead Tech, RN, ARRT / RTR, RCIS (3-4 person teams with 2 Tech and 2 RN - ideal staffing). Type of Equipment: Includes IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, Jet Stream. Documentation System: EPIC Cupid. Scheduling Requirements: 4 shifts of 10 hours with call. Patient Experience Requirements: ICU/ER experience needed. Requested Skill Set: Critical care medication management, Angio / IR experience, including stroke and trauma care. Advanced Skills Needed: None specified. Procedures Performed: Permcath placement, Port placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE management, Stroke, Trauma procedures. Dress Code: Required uniform is royal blue and black for RNs and navy blue and black for Technologists. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Specific policies and guidelines available. Awards/Recognition: The unit is recognized as a Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center. General Comments: The facility is a comprehensive service provider, known for its family-like atmosphere, supportive management, and opportunities for growth. This location is a coastal city known for its Historic District, featuring many museums and a unique southern charm.
