Location: Millbrae CA 94030 Duration: 6 Months Job Type: Temporary Assignment Work Type: Onsite Shift: Monday To Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM Pay Range: $20 to $26 Summary The position focuses on customer service, inventory management, and material handling activities within Managed Services. The role supports product receiving, stocking, disbursement, inventory delivery, chemical handling, glass washing, autoclave operations, and other inventory management functions while using systems such as ULS Inventory Manager and Microsoft Office. The position requires strong customer service, communication, organization, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently at customer locations while maintaining safety, confidentiality, and company standards. Responsibilities Follow established Best Practices, SOPs, and Work Instructions while taking daily direction from Site Supervisors and Team Leads. Perform product receiving, stocking, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, disbursement, and inventory delivery activities. Perform on-site program replenishments and product disbursements according to customer requirements. Deliver direct shipment orders to end users and perform deliveries as required. Analyze, maintain, and reconcile customer and Client reports to ensure requirements are met. Communicate customer issues, concerns, and potential problems to the supervisor. Respond to customer concerns, resolve dissatisfaction, and work toward first-call resolution within established turnaround times. Maintain professional and positive interactions with customers and represent the company appropriately at customer locations. Use ULS Inventory Manager, handheld scanners, computers, company Intranet, and SharePoint systems. Perform stockroom activities and maintain accurate inventory records. Remove cardboard, trash, and other materials from work areas as required. Work effectively with diverse cross-functional teams. Apply Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies to improve processes and efficiency. Stay informed about new policies, system enhancements, and process changes. Maintain customer and company confidentiality. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach. Ability to interact professionally with different levels of personnel at customer sites. Experience or ability to operate handheld scanners and enter data into various systems. Knowledge of inventory management and material handling processes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile multiple reports accurately. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to learn and use inventory management systems such as ULS Inventory Manager. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and company information. Ability to work effectively in stockrooms, laboratories, shipping/receiving areas, and office environments. Ability to walk extensively and perform physical material-handling activities. Ability to consistently lift, push, and pull 30–40 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to safely use material-handling equipment such as push carts and pallet jacks.
