Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.

  • Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that emphasize healing, communication, and relationship skills.

  • Collaborate regularly with psychiatrists, psychologists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

  • Provide education and support to clients' families, helping them understand mental health struggles and actively participate in the healing process.

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client progress and treatment interventions in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and face a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, and more complex family dynamics. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate their challenges in a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental setting.

Qualifications\n

  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • \n
  • Empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach are crucial for supporting clients through their unique experiences.
  • \n
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities to juggle case loads and administrative tasks efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

  • Prior experience in family therapy, couples counseling, or related clinical work is a plus.

  • Training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is preferred.
