Travel Nurse RN - Skilled Nursing - $2,175 per week

Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Skilled Nursing for a travel nursing job in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Skilled Nursing Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Provide direct nursing care to residents based on individualized care plans. Assess residents' physical and emotional condition and identify changes in health status. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely. Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment. Communicate significant changes in resident condition to the physician and appropriate members of the care team. Document assessments, care provided, medications, treatments, and resident responses accurately and timely. Assist with development, implementation, and evaluation of resident care plans. Coordinate care with CNAs, physicians, rehabilitation staff, social services, dietary staff, and other healthcare professionals. Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding medications, treatments, and care needs. Respond appropriately to emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions. Maintain infection-control and safety standards. Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Participate in quality-assurance and performance-improvement activities. Promote resident dignity, privacy, independence, and rights. Supervise and provide direction to nursing assistants and other assigned staff as appropriate. Report accidents, injuries, incidents, and changes in condition according to facility policy. Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania or Compact RN license Current CPR/BLS certification Previous nursing or long-term-care experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Ability to maintain accurate and confidential medical records. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond appropriately to changing resident needs.
