Central Planning Manager

Position Summary We are currently seeking a Central Planning Manager at St. Charles, MO – Corporate location. The Central Planning Manager is responsible for the Sales & Operations process, Master Production Scheduling and Production Control for different Sonaca North America sites. Essential Job Responsibilities Implementation and management of the Sales & Operations process. Development of the master schedule in alignment with customer demand, in collaboration with Program Management and Operations. Implementation and monitoring of the capacity review cycle with site production control managers. Perform schedule risk analysis and provide results to internal/external customers, facilitating recommended improvement activities. Monitoring of production control metrics. Train Production Control teams on SIOP, MRP & Kanban methodologies. Development of the demand flow for new programs, processes, and transfers of work as required. Participation in special projects or tasks identified by management. Manage Transfer of Work projects. Provide leadership to integrate change and risk management. Education and Experience Master’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Minimum of five (5) years of production scheduling or supply chain management experience. Aerospace industry experience. Previous leadership experience and APICS certification preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel. Expertise with an ERP system required. Ability to understand manufacturing processes and associated workflows. High level of ethics and strong integrity. Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and shifting time requirements. Demonstrated ability to promote a participative, team‑oriented environment and effectively collaborate with customers, subordinates, vendors, and peers. Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Analytical and problem‑solving skills capable of handling abstract and concrete variables. Strong delegation, goal setting and talent development abilities. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time; exposure to noise levels ranging from quiet to very loud; required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor; may occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds; up to 25% travel.
