Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Health - PRN

Rate of pay: $28.00 - $33.28 per hour The Glenview at Pelican Bay is a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful, sunny Naples, Florida. We are currently considering candidates for hospitality focused LPNs. Candidates must have nurse experience and a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality. We currently have the following shifts available: PRN. LPNs at The Glenview at Pelican Bay ensure continuity of care for clients receiving Home Health services, respond to and triage medical emergencies or health concerns of all residents residing at The Glenview at Pelican Bay. Responsibilities Performs scheduled visits as assigned by RN Case Managers and/or DON. Responds to unscheduled and/or emergency calls for residents living at The Glenview at Pelican Bay or who live in the community. Calls may also involve staff or guests when the Wellness Clinic is closed. Takes necessary steps to ensure the people involved are treated appropriately. This may include calling 911, recommending adjunct evaluation at a walk‑in clinic, or following policies and procedures for workman’s compensation (for associate related injuries). Performs caregiver orientation or supervisions as requested. Provides ongoing HHA/CNA oversight. Provides teaching and guidance to the client, family and/or caregiver as appropriate. Reports all concerns to the Case Managers or DON as needed. Participates in Performance Improvement/Quality Assurance activities. We are an e-Verify Employer. Skills and Qualifications Degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited school. Florida state LPN license and CPR certification. Possesses the skills and job‑related knowledge to perform the above functions. Minimum of two years experience in home health or other related health care facilities and have a working knowledge of state and federal guidelines for home care. Must pass an extensive criminal background check and drug screen. Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status.
