Senior Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

Operational Support & Environment Management:
* Support Development, UAT, and Production environments
* Monitor application health, system performance, and operational dashboards
* Troubleshoot production incidents, application issues, and data processing failures
* Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
* Work directly with project managers to investigate and resolve client-reported issues
* Support data processing activities, operational workflows, and scheduled jobs
* Participate in production support and release activities

DevOps & Automation:
* Maintain deployment scripts and release procedures
* Manage environment configurations and application settings
* Improve operational monitoring and alerting capabilities

Cloud & Infrastructure Support:
* Support AWS-hosted environments and services
* Manage cloud resources used by Assessment applications
* Support system scalability, monitoring, logging, and operational readiness

Application Support & Development:
* Troubleshoot .NET applications and services
* Support application enhancements and defect resolution
* Develop utility programs, automation tools, and operational scripts
* Assist development teams with code reviews, and release readiness
* Support database development and troubleshooting activities

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications and operational environments
* Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
* Experience supporting .NET applications
* Experience managing deployments and release processes
* Experience working with AWS cloud technologies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong SQL skills, including:
* Query development
* Stored procedures
* Data analysis
* Troubleshooting data issues

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
