As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, build practical engineering skills, and make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, high-tech manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do Depending on business needs and project assignments, responsibilities may include: Support manufacturing engineering projects that improve product quality, operational efficiency, or manufacturing processes Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams Assist with the creation, revision, and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, work instructions, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Analyze data, investigate issues, and help identify opportunities for process improvements. Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities to support manufacturing operations Support implementation of engineering changes, process updates, and other operational initiatives Gain exposure to the tools, systems, and processes used in a manufacturing environment What You’ll Learn Through this internship, you’ll have the opportunity to gain experience in areas such as: Manufacturing engineering and production support. Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing concepts. Structured problem-solving methodologies Cross-functional teamwork and project management Data analysis and process improvement Use of a Tier I ERP System (SAP) Qualifications And Skills Major/Program: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Currently enrolled as a full-time student Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale) Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Strong attention to detail, self-motivated with a desire to learn and contribute Experience with CAD software and technical drawings preferred Here are some of the things our interns have said about their experience at TSI I gained real, hands‑on experience! Pay & Benefits Approximately 12-week internship program during Summer 2027 Approximately 40 hours per week Hourly pay range of $22.00 - $23.00, depending on qualifications and experience Eligible for time off in compliance with applicable state laws Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular period of time.
