Job Title: Cafe Barista 

Location: Colusa, California 

Reports To: Operations Supervisor

Job Summary: The MACC Cafe Barista is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This position involves interacting with customers, handling cash transactions, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations on menu items. Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly. 

• Beverage and Food Preparation: Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Assist in the preparation of food items. 

• Cash Handling:
  Operate the cash register, handle financial transactions accurately, and maintain records of sales. 

• Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. 

• Inventory Management:
  Assist in stocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability. 

• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient store operations and a positive work environment. 

• Adherence to Standards: Follow operational procedures and standards for beverage preparation, customer service, and store cleanliness. 

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. 

• Basic math skills for cash handling. 

Working Conditions: 

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. 

• Comfortable working in a busy and sometimes noisy environment.
