Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, holistic, and patient- and family-centered care that supports progress toward self-identified goals
• Perform the full nursing process — assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation — to deliver safe and therapeutic care
• Promote quality outcomes through evidence-based clinical practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and seek additional resources when managing complex, high-risk, or unusual clinical situations
• Serve as a patient and family advocate to ensure excellent and satisfying care experiences
• Deliver age-specific, individualized care as both a direct and indirect provider for an assigned group of patients

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License required
• Current CPR certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience in a registered nurse role
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a specialty area
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
• Background in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown care settings
