About This Role The Ambulatory Care Nurse at NYU Langone Health will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse looking to provide comprehensive care and collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes. Highlights Pay: $117,977.99 - $117,978.00 Annually Location: Brooklyn, NY Facility: NYU Langone Health Department/Unit: NYU Grossman School of Medicine Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You’ll Do Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests. Collect patient health history. Record information in electronic health record. Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans. Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform patient triage for clinical concerns. Assess and monitor patient responses to various treatments and procedures. Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine best treatment plans for patients. Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and technicians as needed. Support the coordination and implementation of nursing practice and clinical policies. Participate in designated activities related to clinical standards and regulations. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required; Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved contingent upon approval from Nursing Leadership. Experience: Minimum of two years nursing experience in applicable area. Licenses & Certifications: Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York; Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association; ACLS certification preferred.
