QA Analyst III Menlo Park CA 12 months Overview As an QA Contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by executing and improving test processes, collaborating with engineering and QA leads, and supporting the delivery of high-quality features. This role is designed for individuals who can operate independently, contribute to test strategy, and take ownership of execution within defined scopes.ResponsibilitiesTypical Day-to-Day in the roleQA testing of new Whatsapp features/concepts (end-to-end + regression)Automation-focused testing and maintaining/expanding automated coverageReviewing/reading code to understand changes and support debuggingBenchmarking / quality measurement to validate performance and detect regressionsUsing AI agents/tools to speed up bug triage and support bug fixesOwning complex test setup independently (reduce dependency on engineers)Qualifications5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.Experience with dashboarding tools and quality metrics is a plus.Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with cross-functional teams.Familiarity with python, javascript, SQLMust-Have Skills

1. Automation + code reading skills (strong technical QA, can review code and support complex testing)
2. Benchmarking/performance testing experience (define and measure quality/regressions independently)
