Responsibilities:

• Assists the technical team in growing the business through technical engagement with customers, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and assisting with the product's functional investigations in the field.
• Evaluating technical risks, verifying product quality and inspection requirements, customer specification controls, and analyzing product field service history.
• This engineer would also be responsible for problem solving, supporting preliminary engineering calculations, and solution determination in cases of customer complaints or application specific requests with regard to product performance and failure risk analysis.
• Look for and chase new business opportunities by understanding what customers need and want, spotting market trends, and introducing current and new technologies relating to the aftermarket business.
• Help coordinate engineering activities throughout the business cycle.
• Work with and have an impact on a fast-moving global team of people from engineering, sales, business development, project management, design, quality, testing, manufacturing, and customer service; create and give technical presentations and training events to large groups of customers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred, but not required)
• You should have a good communication skills, preferred experience managing relationships with customers.
• Experience with calculation tools and engineering design software.
• Flexibility to travel within the US (up to 30%) and occasionally internationally
