If you're driven, creative, and ready to make an impact, join us.Now Hiring: Medical AssistantLocations: Hendersonville and Franklin clinicsAs a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients feel supported and cared for from their very first visit through every step of their journey.What You'll Do as a Medical Assistant:Greet, room, and take vitals of patients.Ensure clinic patient appointments run in a timely manner, communicating with Physicians and APPs for necessary information before they see patients.Sanitize exam rooms after each patientSanitize equipment used in clinics including instruments, scopes, and specialty procedure equipment.Record into the patient's EHR encounter as necessary per visitSupport clinical procedures as delegated by the supervising physician, including patient preparation, procedure scheduling, assisting during procedures, and reviewing discharge instructions.Rotate/stock pharmaceutical closet; dispose of expired medicationsMaintain inventory of medical supplies and non-sample pharmaceuticalsOrder medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as needed, per established protocolCrosstrain in Patient Service Representative dutiesIdentify, propose and implement continual improvements to drive process efficiency, scalability and innovation within the scope of your work that enhances our ability to achieve the ADVENT vision.Support the overall success of the organization and perform other related duties as requested by leadership.Plan and adapt with business growth and strategy, cross-training where necessary to accommodate different situations and locations.Follow all legal and compliance requirements, including HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient privacy.What You Bring:Medical Assistant experience preferred, such as CMA (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or a minimum of two years of working experience.Procedure assisting experience preferredExcellent time management skills, including ability to work autonomously and with minimal direction.Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills, including phone, verbal, written, and active listening, with the ability to build rapport with patientsAbility to solve problems with the focus on patient experience to make critical decisionsExperience working with performance-based goals or metricsSolid data entry and technology skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, EHRTech-savvy with experience in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health RecordsHigh attention to detail and accuracyA problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environmentA positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethicMust be willing to assist and train at various clinics within the market as needed.Valid driver licenseWhy you should choose ADVENT:16+ days of PTO (prorated your first year based on start date) & holiday pay401k Contribution & Life InsuranceConvenient Monday – Friday schedule, enjoy weekends and evenings for yourself!Culture that embraces excellence and ethics, we are solutions minded, and encourage you to ask questionsClinic Schedule:Monday & Wednesdays, 8:30am - 4:30pmTuesdays, 8am - 5pmThursday, 8:30am - 5:30pmFriday, 8:30am - 2:30pm
