Job Description
Smile Concierge — Part-Time Afternoons (Customer Service Superstars Welcome!)
What You’ll Step Into
- A busy orthodontic practice
- A team that moves quickly and expects the same
- A supportive culture where everyone takes ownership and brings positive energy
No dental or orthodontic experience? No problem! We teach the technical skills; we just need your passion for people.
Who You Are
You’re the person who:
- Has a customer service, retail, or hospitality background and loves connecting with people
- Learns by doing, repeating, and getting better every day
- Stays calm and steps up when things get busy
- Helps the team without being asked
- Wants a consistent part-time afternoon schedule in a rewarding healthcare setting
- Brings a positive, professional attitude, even under pressure
What You’ll Do
This is a dynamic afternoon role where you ensure our clinical flow stays smooth and patients feel like VIPs.
You will:
- Greet patients warmly and support clinical procedures chairside and behind the scenes
- Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas
- Manage sterilization flow (fast, accurate, consistent)
- Keep the clinic stocked, organized, and running smoothly
- Take patient photos/records with efficiency and consistency
- Create a warm, welcoming experience for every patient
- Step in wherever needed—because that’s what great teams do
What We’ll Teach You
- Orthodontic systems and procedures
- Sterilization, infection control, and OSHA standards
- Clinical workflows and efficiency
- Patient communication and service excellence
Non-Negotiables
- You show up on time and ready to move
- You take ownership
- You stay productive (no standing around)
- You accept feedback and improve quickly
- You care about doing things the right way, not the easy way
- Dental Assisting Certification is preferred (X-RAY, Coronal Polishing)
Who This Is Perfect For
- Customer service, retail, or hospitality pros looking to step into the dental field
- Hospitality or customer service professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments
- Anyone seeking a rewarding part-time afternoon schedule with hands-on learning
- Someone who wants to be part of a high-performance, accountable team
