Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including thorough physical examinations and medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results

• Provide essential intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and adeptly passing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical care is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be current
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
