- # Staff Radiologic Technologist - Bone & Mineral DiseasesApplyremote type: On Campus/Onsitelocations: West County - St. Louis, MO: Washington University Medical Campus: South County - St. Louis, MOtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: JR94401# **Scheduled Hours**40# **Position Summary**Position performs diagnostic radiographic examinations, applying principles of radiation protection and principles of effective patient care.# **Job Description****Primary Duties & Responsibilities:*** Performs radiographic examinations per scanning protocols, correlating patient history with examination and presents study to physician for examination while adhering to patient schedules.* Assists physicians with procedures, obtains necessary supplies and equipment and monitors patient needs while assisting physician with patient support.* Enhances own professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and conferences.* Maintains documentation as requires, including patient files, performs data entry and completes paperwork needed for procedures/processes.* Develops film through automatic processing, monitoring darkroom supplies.* Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards.* Assists with maintaining supplies.**Working Conditions:**Job Location/Working Conditions* Normal Office EnvironmentPhysical Effort* Typically Sitting at a desk or tableEquipment* Office EquipmentThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
