Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week contract working in a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures with a focus on cardiovascular invasive techniques.

Responsibilities:

Perform cardiac catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, and implant pacemakers and defibrillators.
Operate specialized cardiovascular invasive equipment and ensure high-quality patient care during procedures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and procedural support.
Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and infection control standards.
Document procedures accurately within the EMR and follow unit policies and guidelines.
Assist in preparing the cath lab for scheduled procedures and patient positioning.

Qualifications:

Current certification as a Cath Lab Tech with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Valid ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
Knowledge of Meditech EMR and cardiovascular invasive procedures.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Candidates with RCIS certification are preferred.
