Behavior Health Unit Registered Nurse - Part Time

Jennie Stuart Health is looking for a compassionate and motivated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (BHU) to provide exceptional care to patients in our 12-bed Behavioral Health Unit. This role is perfect for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are passionate about helping patients on their path to healing and recovery. Location: 320 W. 18th St., Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures Administer and document medications safely and accurately Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to update and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and families on treatment goals and progress Operate equipment safely, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and uphold all safety standards Demonstrate professionalism and compassion while maintaining patient confidentiality and supporting hospital policies Serve as a positive role model for teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy What We’re Looking For Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current RN license in the state of Kentucky or a compact state BLS Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required, must be current) Strong understanding of medication administration and patient care protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confidence and composure in high-stress situations Commitment to patient confidentiality, ethical standards, and continuous learning Why Join Jennie Stuart Health At Jennie Stuart Health, you’re more than a nurse — you’re part of a family that values compassion, teamwork, and professional growth.
