Kitchen Shift Leader

A Kitchen Shift Leader is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant’s heart. They have a passion for serving high quality food, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Kitchen Shift Leaders are responsible for executing daily kitchen operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence. A Shift Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the Kitchen runs effectively and coaching/developing team members. Kitchen Shift Leaders lead by example in the kitchen and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Leader Responsibilities:

• Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
• Assist in the training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Smile,Create and Maintain Eye Contact, and Speak Enthusiastically
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have open availability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
• Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
• Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
