Happy Tails RVA is a one stop shop for pet service needs in the Richmond area, including mobile pet grooming, pet sitting/dog walking and concierge services. Our goal is to bring qualified, experienced and passionate pet service providers to care for a family's pets as their own.

These positions are full time mobile pet groomers in Richmond, VA and the surrounding areas.

Job Type: Full time


Shift Availability : Day


Schedule : Weekday and weekend shifts offered

Job Responsibilities:

• Grooming Services: Providing a variety of grooming services, including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and haircuts.
• Mobile Grooming: Traveling to clients' homes or businesses to provide grooming services.
• Customer Service: Building strong relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring that grooming equipment is clean, sanitized, and in good working condition.
• Scheduling/Time Management: Managing appointments and scheduling efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Education : High school degree or degree equivalent strongly preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in pet grooming is required (2 years). Mobile pet grooming experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of dog and cat grooming techniques and breed standards.
• Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for animals.
• Certification: Pet CPR Certification and Pet Grooming Certification preferred.
• Reliable Transportation and Ability to Transport: Must have a clean driving record and ability to pass a thorough background check.
• Ability to lift pets when necessary
