About the role Mizzen+Main is seeking a highly motivated, fashion-forward, and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to help lead our retail team. This role supports the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and plays a key role in driving store performance, delivering a world-class customer experience, and cultivating a positive and productive store culture. Deliver and model exceptional, personalized customer service to inspire team standards and drive customer loyalty. Maintain a deep understanding of current promotions, new product launches, and in-store/online events to create a seamless and informed customer journey. Assist in resolving customer concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring satisfaction and retention. Support the Store Manager in driving all aspects of store operations including staffing, training, sales performance, and daily execution of store initiatives. Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training sales associates and keyholders. Provide daily coaching and on-the-floor leadership to reinforce team alignment with sales and service goals. Support daily store operations, including opening/closing duties, inventory control, and visual merchandising. Help manage and maintain an organized, efficient stockroom to ensure timely replenishment and product flow. Assist in executing floor sets and visual displays in line with brand standards and seasonal initiatives. Ensure compliance with Mizzen+Main's operational policies and procedures. What You'll Need 1-3 years of retail or customer-facing experience; prior leadership or assistant management experience strongly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence a team. Proficient in using computers, tablets, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Physical Demands Able to bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
