Role Overview

As a Scheduler, you will support patient access and coordination by ensuring accurate scheduling, clear communication, and a seamless experience for patients and care teams within a BayCare Medical Group cardiology (Heart & Vascular) practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Scheduling procedures and appointments accurately and efficiently
• Collecting and verifying patient demographic and insurance information
• Providing detailed preparation instructions for clinical exams
• Documenting patient responses to clinical questions
• Communicating scheduling updates with physician offices and hospital teams
• Supporting authorization and payer guideline adherence
• Performing clerical duties including answering phones and data entry
• Assisting with workflow coordination and patient inquiries
• Traveling between BayCare locations as needed
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Preferred: Associate's degree in a related field

Experience

Required: One (1) year of experience in one of the following: Business-related field, Healthcare setting, Customer service
