HVS is seeking a skilled, motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our talented clinical team. Whether your background is in general practice, emergency or you’ve already worked in surgery or critical care, this is a unique opportunity to take your skills to the next level in a state-of-the‑art hospital designed for learning, teamwork, and excellence. In this role, you’ll work as a Veterinary Nurse rotating across a range of support areas. You’ll be trained and supported to grow your technical confidence in a fast‑paced, well‑resourced specialty environment. What You’ll Do: Provide compassionate, hands‑on care to surgical and hospitalized patients Place and manage IV catheters, administer medications, and monitor vitals Assist with blood draws, bandaging, oxygen supplementation, and patient rounds Communicate with clients during check‑ins, updates, and discharges Work closely with a collaborative team of doctors, specialists, and fellow nurse Contribute to a supportive, respectful hospital culture built on shared purpose and mutual trust What We Require: Licensure in New York State required 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician Anesthesia, Critical Care or ICU experience a plus Experience with practice management software, (ezyVet is our in‑house platform) Adaptability, being able to pivot effortlessly while demonstrating a positive attitude with clients and co‑workers Highly organized and acute attention to detail Sound judgment with the ability to work ethically, independently, and responsibly Resourceful and collaborative problem resolution skills Strong and respectful written and verbal communication skills Dedication to excellent service for each client and patient Openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning What We Offer:

• 35-$45/hr. Additional incentives available for candidates with a VTS in Anesthesia, ECC or Internal Medicine
• 10,000 sign-on bonus based on experience
