Senior Data Engineer

- # Job Description# Senior Data Engineer**Location:** Austin, Texas (Onsite) **Employment Type:** Permanent* 10 or more years of total experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.* Experience in a large, enterprise-scale data engineering environment is required.* Must be highly collaborative and thrive in a large, matrixed organization.* Expertise in SQL, including advanced capabilities.* Proficiency with big data technologies such as Spark, PySpark, and Databricks.* Deep understanding of distributed computing, scalability, and data architecture.* Experience with modern data pipeline practices and tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Python).* Strong software engineering fundamentals and tooling (e.g., Git, CI/CD, JIRA).* Cloud experience building data and analytics solutions (GCP preferred; Azure is also valued).* Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Alteryx.* Own high-impact, enterprise-scale data solutions that enable analytics and machine learning.* Work with modern tools and patterns, designing for scale, stability, and reusability.* Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and help shape the data engineering roadmap.* Opportunity to mentor, influence standards, and elevate the data culture.* Medical, dental, and vision insurance available from day one.* Paid time off begins on the first day of employment.* 401(k) profit-sharing plan available after 90 days.* Additional benefits may include pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, and tuition reimbursement.*Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
