Locums - Chattanooga, Tennessee, Vascular Surgery Job Position Overview Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing need TBD Setting: Inpatient Days per Month: 10 days Average Callback: 2-3 hours Vascular Surgeon needed for ongoing call coverage APPs take first call Schedule/Availability 24-hour call 1 in 4 weekends Must be available for the open dates below Dates Needed October 9-11 October 23-25 November 25-29 Practice Details Admissions per day: 5-6 Patients per day: 15-20, including inpatient and outpatient EMR: Epic Support Staff: APPs who take first call Clinical Responsibilities Diagnose vascular conditions using imaging and physical examinations Manage vascular disease through medications, diet, exercise, and patient education Perform minimally invasive procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and other endovascular repairs Perform complex open vascular surgeries, including bypasses and aneurysm repairs Manage chronic vascular conditions and provide long-term care Respond appropriately to emergency situations Promote positive lifestyle habits through education and counseling Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality Attend meetings as requested Perform other duties as assigned Types of Cases Vascular conditions involving arteries and veins Carotid and peripheral vascular disease Leg swelling and other lower-extremity vascular conditions Aneurysms and other complex vascular conditions Cases involving collaboration with Cardiology Required Procedures Complex open vascular surgeries, including bypasses and aneurysm repairs Angioplasty Stenting Other endovascular repairs Requirements Active Tennessee license Clean malpractice history Clean background Credentialing: 30-90 days What is great about Chattanooga Scenic Tennessee city surrounded by mountains, rivers, and abundant outdoor recreation Walkable downtown with restaurants, breweries, shops, and attractions Convenient access to hiking, boating, and other outdoor activities Great location within driving distance of Atlanta, Nashville, and Knoxville Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
