Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotation | Expected 36 hours/week | Start times of 7:00 AM (days) and 7:00 PM (nights) | Every 3rd weekend as needed | Every other holiday | On-call: once per schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled intraoperative nursing care across a 17-room OR department staffed 24/7, supporting a broad range of surgical services including general, GYN, GU, oral, ENT, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties , with demonstrated competency in at least 5 surgical service lines
• Maintain a positive attitude and flexibility to support a high-volume, fast-paced surgical environment
• May float to an additional OR location as needed
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader perioperative team

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient Operating Room experience
• Scrub experience required
• BLS certification required
• Competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical service lines
• Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be considered at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Experience in neurosurgery and/or vascular surgery
• Scrub experience beyond general, GYN, and GU service lines
