CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide vital direct patient care, significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team. Every day, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience. Your compassionate demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential.Utilizes the nursing process for planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care. Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and updates Plan of Care as appropriate to patient condition/needPerforms documentation in patient records that is timely, accurate, and conciseProvides appropriate support at time of deathPerforms efficiently in emergency situations, following established protocols, appropriate communication and documentationCommunicates with Interdisciplinary Team members regarding patient status and changes to Plan of Care per Hospice policyAssumes responsibility for professional growth by taking advantage of the available opportunities.
