Hospitalist Position

A healthcare provider is seeking a full-time Hospitalist (MD or DO) to join a supportive inpatient team. This is a rewarding opportunity to practice in a community-focused setting. You will have a manageable patient load and excellent sub-specialty support.

As a Hospitalist, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing inpatient care in a 7 on / 7 off schedule.
• Making daily rounds on assigned patients, averaging 12 to 15 per physician.
• Admitting patients and managing rapid responses and codes.
• Collaborating with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24/7 consultation available.
• Conducting patient assessments, histories, physicals, and documentation using designated EMR.
• Coordinating with attending physicians, specialists, and hospital staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Participating in a hospitalist team managing 40 to 50 patients per day collectively.
• There are no on-call duties.

You will work in a non-trauma designated hospital with strong infrastructure. This position accepts new graduates if Board Eligible. Board Certification is required within 2 years of contract start. The organization does not accept Locum candidates or Visa candidates. 1099 candidates are not accepted.
