About Us

Atlanta Specialty Millwork builds and supplies doors, millwork, and architectural details for builders, remodelers, and designers across metro Atlanta. We are the sister company of Liteworks Window & Door. We're a small shop where your work is seen, your input matters, and quality comes before volume.

The Role

We're hiring Millworkers and Doorshop Technicians who takes pride in precise, clean work. Most of your time will be in the shop prehanging doors and building corbels and other custom pieces. A few times a month, you'll go onsite to install or adjust what we build.

What You'll Do

Door Shop

• Prehang interior and exterior doors: cut and assemble jambs, route hinges, bore for locksets and deadbolts, apply stops and casing
• Read order tickets and shop drawings for size, handing, jamb width, swing, hinge finish, and hardware prep
• Operate the door machine, miter saw, table saw, routers, and pneumatic nailers
• Check every unit for square, reveal, and swing before it leaves the shop
• Label, wrap, and stage finished units for delivery

Custom Millwork

• Build corbels, brackets, and other decorative millwork from drawings or samples: lay out, cut, shape, glue up, and sand ready for finish
• Make templates and jigs for repeat runs
• Support other shop work, including mouldings and trim packages

Field Installation (Occasional)

• Hang and adjust doors, install corbels, and complete punch-list and warranty work at customer jobsites
• Represent the company professionally in customers' homes and on active jobsites

Shop Upkeep

• Keep the shop clean and organized; maintain tools and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Help load and unload trucks and receive material

What We're Looking For

Required for both Millworker and Doorshop Technician

• Accurate with a tape measure to 1/16" and comfortable with fractions and basic shop math
• Able to safely operate a table saw, miter saw, router, and pneumatic tools
• Able to lift 75 lbs and stand for a full shift

Required for Millworker position

• 2+ years in a door shop, millwork shop, cabinet shop, or finish carpentry
• Experience running a prehang door machine
• Exterior and double-door experience, including multipoint lock prep
• Finish carpentry or trim installation experience
• Valid driver's license
