Position Title: Purchasing Specialist

Work Location: Lake County, IL 60064

Assignment Duration: 3 Months (Extension based on performance and business needs)

Position Summary:

Looking for a Specialist for Scientific Services to support process-driven activities and contribute to improving operational efficiency within the organization. The primary responsibility will involve working within SAP SRM to support and streamline the goods receipt process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Candidates will be responsible for receiving order-related information and accurately posting goods receipts in the SAP SRM system.
• The role also requires updating and maintaining tracking systems to ensure records are accurate and current.
• The role requires the ability to execute established workflows accurately while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
• This position is expected to support a high-volume workload.

Qualification & Experience:

• The ability to quickly learn new processes, systems, and workflows is essential for success in this position.
• Looking for candidates who can work independently with minimal supervision and confidently manage their daily responsibilities.
• Strong critical thinking skills are required to evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Candidates should be comfortable making recommendations that help improve workflow efficiency and overall process effectiveness.
• Candidates should be capable of handling increasing workloads as the program expands and operational demands grow.
• Experience working in process-oriented environments where accuracy and consistency are critical will be highly beneficial.
• Looking for self-motivated individuals who can take ownership of their responsibilities and proactively manage tasks.
• Strong attention to detail is important when handling order information, goods receipt postings, and system updates.
• Candidates should be comfortable working with business systems and maintaining accurate documentation and tracking records.
• Effective communication skills are required to collaborate with team members and ensure workflow requirements are completed efficiently.
