About Us:
We are a private country club, specializing in hosting elegant banquets, weddings, corporate events, and private parties. We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced banquet bartender to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy providing exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!
Position Summary:
As a Banquet Bartender, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy top-quality drinks and service during events. You’ll work closely with our event staff to create an enjoyable atmosphere while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests, ensuring that all their drink requests are met.
- Monitor guest consumption to ensure a responsible and safe drinking environment.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after events.
- Collaborate with the event manager and servers to ensure the smooth operation of the event.
- Handle cash and card transactions as needed, ensuring accurate payment processing.
- Adhere to all local alcohol service laws and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending and food service experience is preferred, particularly in banquet or event settings.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail mixing, and bar equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- TIPS, ServSafe, or other alcohol service certifications are a plus.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required for events.
