# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / GYN Registered Nurse – North Dakota**Start Date:** September 30, 2026 **Location:** Bismarck, North Dakota **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 3x12 hour night shifts with some day shifts; rotating weekends and holidays required**Highlights:** - Diverse patient population including labor and delivery, high-risk obstetrics, postpartum mother/baby couplets, and gynecological surgical postoperative care- 19-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 for active labor, 1:3 for mother/baby couplets, and appropriate ratios for combined assignments- EPIC charting system with OBIX documentation and centralized fetal monitoring for labor and delivery- 36-hour comprehensive orientation program designed for experienced travelers- Opportunity to provide helping hands support in newborn nursery and NICU, enhancing skill diversity- Navy blue scrubs provided; hospital-issued scrubs available for labor and delivery**Requirements:** - Active RN license eligible for North Dakota- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery required- Postpartum and Gynecological nursing experience required- Current BLS/CPR, ACLS, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required- STABLE certification preferred but not required- Fetal monitoring competency required- Willingness to float to newborn nursery and NICU as needed- Permanent address must be located more than 80 miles from the facility- Must be available to work night shifts and rotating day shifts, weekends, and holidays**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to utilize your comprehensive obstetric and gynecological nursing skills in a well-equipped acute care setting that values experienced travelers.
