Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Valeo Resources has partnered with a non-profit hospital organization. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join the team in Rancho Mirage, CA! You will be responsible for providing direct patient care and lead care coordination as a Nurse Practitioner, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, cost-effective, and evidence-based treatment plans that enhance patient outcomes and experience.

Position: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Location: Rancho Mirage, CA

Schedule: M-F, day shifts (Full time - W2) Pay: $73-111/hr

Responsibilities:

• Follows the Code of Conduct and reports any compliance concerns.
• Uses evidence-based practices to assess, diagnose, and manage patient care.
• Performs thorough health assessments, including history, exams, and tests.
• Applies clinical reasoning to develop accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts care as needed to meet goals.
• Works within scope of practice and collaborates with physicians and specialists.
• Maintains accurate, timely documentation to support quality care.
• Participates in quality improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
• Uses healthcare resources responsibly while maintaining care standards.
• Meets all professional and regulatory requirements, including evaluations and protocols.

Requirements:

• MSN or DNP
• Active CA RN license and NP license
• Preferred experience in acute or ambulatory setting
